Lori Anne Butler is a multi-disciplinary visual artist, illustrator and life-long Floridian. Her picture book Beneath the Turtle Moon received a PBParty 2025 Author/Illustrator Honorable Mention for the Illustration Showcase. Her illustration will be featured on the cover of Bacopa Literary Review 2025, and her visual poem “Playhouse” will also be published in this edition. She has portfolios on SCBWI, and she is a member of The New Smyrna Beach Turtle Trackers. Having grown up surrounded by the astounding beauty of tropical landscapes, her dream is to make artwork that inspires children to respect the earth and all its creatures.
